Charles Foley, Chairman, CEO

Over 20 years experience leading both private and public company teams to success. As the President of Tacit Networks, he designed the marketing and business development strategies that led to their profitable acquisition by Packeteer (NASDAQ: PKTR). As CEO of InfiniCon Systems, he built and led the company to a leadership position; the company was acquired by QLogic (NASDAQ:QLGC). While at EVP & CTO, INRANGE Technologies, Chuck was Project Manager for the extremely successful year 2000 IPO (NASDAQ: INRG) which reached a $5.5B market cap while revenues rose from $185M to $265M in two years. In addition, Mr. Foley was VP, WW Marketing & Strategy, Amdahl (acquired by Fujitsu). Mr. Foley has also held senior positions at IBM and Memorex-Telex, and sits on the Board of Directors for Network Engines, Inc. (NASDAQ: NENG), and serves as Chairman for Critical Links, Inc.

Geoff Lapres, Chief Financial Officer

Geoff Lapres joined TimeSight Systems from Textronics, a manufacturer of high-technology textiles, which was recently acquired by Adidas. Prior to his time at Adidas, Lapres was CFO at Tacit Networks, where he helped grow the company to a leadership position which led to the company’s successful acquisition by Packeteer, Inc.  In addition, Lapres served as vice president of Finance at INRANGE Technologies, where he was instrumental in taking the company through a very successful Initial Public Offering in 2000.

Barry Benight, Chief Technology Officer

More than 25 years experience in hardware and software development. He has worked in world leading organizations such as Stanford University, Scientific-Atlanta, and Philips Electronics, and has extensive experience in video system design, including compression, processing, and storage. He was OS System Architect for the Scientific-Atlanta set-top boxes, now deployed in millions of homes. Barry is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer, and holds a BSEE Degree from Stanford University

Mike Gluck, VP, Sales

Mike Gluck has over 35 years of experience in the computer, security and data storage industry, including executive sales management positions with Pivot3, Xiotech, Fujitsu Computer Products of America, and Control Data. As VP of Sales for Pivot3, Mike was instrumental in Pivot3's initial launch into the digital storage surveillance market, including developing the go-to-market sales strategy, recruiting the sales team, and forging ecosystem partner and alliance relationships. He has a successful track record of growing revenue and businesses for both startups and for larger companies. In addition, he was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Chaparral Network Storage, overseeing acquisitions and managing the company’s IPO filing process, as well as serving as CEO of Vanguard Technology, a systems integrator focused on the Federal and DoD markets. Mike has a BS in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Scott Carter, VP, Business Development

Over 15 years of Enterprise IT experience working in emerging technology areas, such as TCP/IP with FTP Software in 1994, EAI middleware with Constellar in 1997, and multi-lingual website creation with eTranslate in 1999.

Tom Ertel, VP, Engineering

Over 25 years experience in leading engineering organizations ranging in size from 10 to 200 development engineers, QA Engineers and Support engineers . He served as VP of Engineering at Nextpoint Networks, producer of access security solutions, which was recently acquired by Genband Inc. Prior to that he was the VP of Engineering at Internet Photonics Inc(IPI), a producer of Carrier grade Optical Ethernet solutions, which was acquired by Ciena Corp. Prior to IPI, Mr. Ertel held senior management positions at Artel Video Systems, 3Com Corp, Chipcom Corp and Digital Equipment Corp(DEC). He holds a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institutes and an Executive MBA from Stanford University.
